Having recently rehomed Milo, a two-year-old Labrador who had received no training, recall, suffered separation anxiety and was reactive, I dusted off my puppy training memories from a class I attended at NDTA over ten years ago. I was amazed at the rapid improvement I saw in him - he’s a different dog already from 3months ago! Now that we’re back and attending the adult beginners class with Milo, I’m reminded just how invaluable these classes are. I’m looking forward to continuing them.

The induction was very informative, giving advice on the correct lead, what can be used when they are teething and what to expect from the outdoor training sessions.

Session took place without puppy and was so informative, the trainers all seem so lovely approachable and knowledgeable, settling all my new dog owner worries. Looking forward to the next sessions to help enforce my learnt new skills into practise.

Hi Michelle, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. It helps us improve what we do and how we do it. Yes, it will settle down. During the first week of training, there are many questions, and we try to answer as many as possible while keeping the class moving. Normally, the section head, Brent Watson, would visit each group, but unfortunately, we were down one instructor, so I had to lead a class. We will look at ways of improving this going forward.
